The word “Wellfleet” is synonymous with high-quality Cape Cod seafood, especially the creamy, briny Wellfleet oysters from Wellfleet Harbor farms, day boat scallops, sweet and briny clams, and cold water lobsters that have been harvested from Wellfleet Harbor for centuries. Wellfleet Shellfish Co. was founded in 2001 by a dozen Wellfleet shellfishermen, including Jim Connell, Bob Wallace, and Barbara Austin. At Wellfleet Shellfish Co., their unique location on the Outer Cape provides access to a wide variety of local seafood from their dock to your door.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- Wellfleet Shellfish Co. ships Monday-Friday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping.
- Wellfleet does not ship to Hawaii, Sorry guys!
- Lobsters shipped live with ice packs and soaked saltwater paper.
- Upon arrival, remove packaging and place lobsters immediately in the fridge.
- Live lobsters should be consumed within one day of receipt.
- If you wish to keep your lobsters until the following day, you are doing so at your own risk. We cannot guarantee the lobsters beyond the date of delivery.
- NOTE: Your lobsters have journeyed a long way to get to you! It’s not uncommon for them to arrive stressed and lethargic after traveling.
- Lobsters will remain fresh for 12 hours if they are kept cool.
- Cook lobsters even if they appear motionless.
