One of the oldest bakeries in northern New Jersey, Teaneck’s Butterflake Bakery is known for their amazing Kosher delicacies like their flavored challahs, authentic Jewish rye bread, and meltaway cakes. Everything is hand-made from scratch and many of the recipes have been handed down since the bakery opened in 1947.

• Each Heavy Streusel Apple Cake measures 6″ × 3″ and weighs approx. 1 lb.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Butterflake Bakery ships Tuesday of each week.
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Cake ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit
• Upon arrival, remove cake from packaging and store in the refrigerator or freezer.
• Cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days or freezer for up to 3 months.

To Serve

• If frozen, cakes can be defrosted overnight in the refrigerator or at room temperature for 3-4 hours. It is recommended that the cakes be served at room temperature by leaving on the counter for 1-2 hours before serving, once defrosted.
