INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Rustic Inn ships Tuesday-Friday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Chowder ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
• Upon arrival, store in the freezer until ready to serve.
• Chowder can be stored in the freezer for up to 30 days.
• Once thawed, chowder is best enjoyed within 5 days.

To Serve

• Thaw chowder in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
• Remove chowder from the plastic container before heating.
• Place chowder in a heavy saucepan or double boiler over medium-low heat.
• Heat for approximately 15-30 minutes, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon or spatula, scraping the bottom of the pot to avoid scorching.
• Do not boil. When small bubbles appear around the edges of the pot, remove from heat.
• If not warm enough, return to low heat until chowder reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
• Serve & Enjoy!
