Description
Lombardi’s opened in Little Italy in 1905 and is widely regarded as America’s first pizzeria, the coal-oven kitchen credited with shaping New York-style pizza. Its Margherita keeps to the essentials that made the name: a smoky, charred coal-fired crust under fresh crushed tomato sauce, fresh whole-milk mozzarella, Romano, and basil. Two pies come ready to reheat and pull the char back to life. Perfect for a pizza night, a taste of NYC far from Spring Street, or anyone who wants the original done simply.

- Each pizza serves 1-2 people, measures approx. 12″ and weighs approx. 1.5 lbs.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- Lombardi’s Pizza ships Tuesday-Thursday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
- Pizza ships fresh with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival, store pizza in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
- Pizza & meatballs can be stored for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or up to 1 month in the freezer.
To Serve
- If frozen, allow pizzas to defrost in the refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Remove pizza from protective pouch and place it on a flat surface.
- Using a table spoon, place the sauce enclosed into the areas that currently have lite sauce. Then using the back of the spoon, paint the sauce completely over those area between the cheese (for better results swirl a little olive oil on ONLY the plain pies before baking).
- Place the pie directly on the middle rack of oven, do not use foil or a pan.
- Bake the pie until golden brown, approx. 10 minutes. The cheese will spread and start bubbling, some browning is normal.
- Top your finished pie with grated cheese and fresh basil to kick it up a notch (not included).
- Serve and enjoy!

- From Thawed
- Fully thaw in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Microwave for approx. 2-3 minutes.

- Microwave for approx. 2-3 minutes or until fully heated through.

- Bring a pot of water to boil.
