This pack contains three each of Dong Phuong Bakery’s most iconic bánh mì sandwiches: Grilled Pork and Vietnamese Sausage, on soft, crackly-crusted fresh-baked French bread and topped with tangy garlic aioli, crisp pickled carrots & daikon, cucumber, cilantro, and jalapeño!

Back in the early 1980s, Huong and De Van Tran, along with their three children, emigrated from Vietnam to New Orleans to chase the American dream. They opened Dong Phuong Bakery in 1982, and since then it’s become a cornerstone of The Big Easy’s thriving Vietnamese community and was named an “American Classic” by the James Beard Foundation in 2018. Huong’s baked goods are a thing of cultish devotion in New Orleans, including the French bread, which forms the foundation of bánh mì, the iconic Vietnamese sandwich. The bread has a crackling crust and a pillowy-soft interior, and is the perfect vehicle for the homemade meats and pickled veggies that make up this legendary sandwich.

Sandwiches Include

• 3 Grilled Pork – Pork is marinated in lemongrass, garlic, and fish sauce, then grilled to perfection.
• 3 Vietnamese Sausage – Housemade sweet and savory pork sausage flavored with fish sauce and garlic with rich chicken liver pâté.

• Dong Phuong Bakery ships Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Sandwiches ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
• Toppings ship fresh with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
• Upon arrival, store sandwiches in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
• Upon arrival, store toppings in the refrigerator.
• Sandwiches may be stored for up to 1 week in the refrigerator, or up to 1 month in the freezer.
• Toppings may be stored for up to 1 week in the refrigerator, do not freeze.

To Serve

• Defrost sandwiches in the refrigerator overnight.
• Toast sandwiches in oven or air fryer for approx. 3-5 minutes, making sure the inside is warm.
• Add veggie toppings, jalapeño, and cilantro.
• Serve and enjoy!
