Donato Giovine and Mariagrazia Zanardi arrived from Milan in August 2010 and opened Gorgeous Gelato on Fore Street in Portland, Maine’s Old Port that December – with a precise goal: produce the best gelato west of Italy. No preservatives, no artificial flavors, no hydrogenated fats, no emulsifiers – whole milk, the best cream, and cocoa sourced from the finest available selections. The Chocolate & Caramel Gelato: rich chocolate and luscious caramel swirled into a creamy vanilla base, in four pints from the Portland institution Yelp named one of the top 100 ice cream shops in the U.S. in 2023.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- Gorgeous Gelato ships Monday thru Thursday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
- Gelato ships frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
- Do not handle dry with bare hands.
- Upon arrival, store in the freezer at 0°F for up to 3 months.
To Serve
- When ready to serve, remove from the freezer and allow to thaw 10 minutes before enjoying.
