Sliced Corned Beef

Liebman’s Kosher Deli has been the last kosher deli in the Bronx since the neighborhood’s Jewish deli culture – once over 100 strong – winnowed to one. The corned beef is house-cured, hand-sliced, and stacked with the practiced hand of a counter that has been doing this since 1953; Yuval Dekel, who has run the Riverdale institution since 2002, credits the survival of the deli to the quality of the meat and the loyalty of the neighborhood regulars who’ve been coming in since before the naugahyde booths wore in.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Liebman’s Deli ships Monday through Friday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Meats are frozen and shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
• Upon arrival, place the meat in the refrigerator or freezer to serve later
• Allow meat to thaw in the refrigerator for a few hours or on a countertop before serving

To Serve

• Remove desired amount and place on microwave safe dish. Microwave for 15 seconds until completely he did through.
• Also try tightly wrapping desired amount in plastic wrap and gently steam until hot and tender.
