For more than 30 years, Baton Rouge’s Ambrosia Bakery has been turning out the kind of King Cakes that define Mardi Gras season across Louisiana. Their Filled King Cake features a cinnamon-sugar dough wrapped around your choice of filling – Strawberry, Bavarian Cream, Lemon, Blueberry, or Apple – with or without cream cheese. Each cake arrives shrink-wrapped and undecorated with icing, colored sugars, and a traditional plastic baby included, so you can bring the hands-on spirit of Mardi Gras into your own kitchen.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• The Ambrosia Bakery ships Monday through Wednesday each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight

• King Cake arrives ready to enjoy!
• Store at room temperature in sealed packaging for up to 3 days.
• King Cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months.

To Serve

• From the refrigerator or from frozen, allow King Cake to come to room temperature before serving.
• Remove King Cake from packaging before decorating.
• If necessary, the icing may be slightly warmed in the microwave for just a few seconds to make spreading easier.
• Spread icing evenly over the top of the King Cake.
• Sprinkle Purple, Green, and Gold sugars over the icing while still wet.
• Slice and serve using the included Ambrosia Cake Knife.
