The black & white is New York’s unofficial cookie, and Bagel Boss bakes a two-bite version, eight to a pack, each a soft, cake-like round split down the middle in chocolate and vanilla fondant. They come from the Hicksville, Long Island shop the Rosner family has run since 1975, the same kitchen behind their hand-rolled bagels. Small enough to grab with coffee, familiar enough to feel like home. Perfect for a party platter, a lunchbox treat, or a taste of New York for a transplant.
