Description
Black pudding from Ackroyd’s: steel-cut oats, pork, beef blood, and seasoning hand-stuffed into a natural casing – the most traditional item in the British breakfast canon, made the old way at the third-generation Redford, Michigan bakery Al and Silas Ackroyd founded in 1949. The brothers started with Scottish meats because the local community demanded them; the black pudding is still the most authentic expression of that original mandate. A quintessential part of the full Scottish breakfast, from one of America’s only traditional Scottish bakeries.

- Ackroy’s Scottish Bakery ships Monday – Friday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
Black Pudding
- Pudding ships frozen with ice packs, which may thaw during transit.
- Pudding can be stored in the freezer for 3-6 months, or in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
- Once opened, consume within 24-48 hours.
HP Sauce Glass Bottle
- Sauce arrives ready to enjoy!
- Refrigerate sauce after opening and consume within 8 weeks.
- Note: Best By date on the bottle is European (DD/MMM/YY).
To Serve
From Thawed
- Defrost in the refrigerator overnight.
- Slice the puddings into 1-1.5″ pieces.
- Fry pudding pieces in butter or oil until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
