Description
Challah has been part of the William Greenberg repertoire since the kosher bakery opened on Madison Avenue in 1946, and this set brings home three braided loaves. The crumb is so tender and rich it verges on cake, holding up equally to butter and jam at breakfast or a weekend batch of French toast. It comes from the Upper East Side bakery that has kept New Yorkers in black & white cookies and rugelach for nearly eighty years. Perfect for a Shabbat table, a holiday breakfast, or a French toast Sunday that deserves a proper loaf.
