Sisters Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne opened Georgetown Cupcake in Washington, D.C. on Valentine’s Day 2008 – inspired by their Greek grandmother’s baking – and lines formed around the block within weeks. The Classic Dozen brings the four signatures that built the bakery’s reputation: Chocolate, Vanilla, Chocolate & Vanilla, and Red Velvet, each made with Callebaut and Valrhona chocolate and European sweet cream butter, topped with swirled buttercream. The New York Times declared Georgetown Cupcake beat Magnolia Bakery “by miles and miles” – the classics are why.

Cupcake Flavors Include

• 3 Chocolate & Vanilla – Valrhona chocolate cupcake with a vanilla cream cheese frosting topped with French chocolate sprinkles.
• 3 Chocolate Squared – Valrhona chocolate cupcake with a whipped Callebaut chocolate frosting topped with a fondant flower or other seasonal decoration in assorted colors.
• 3 Red Velvet – Georgetown Cupcake’s signature cupcake – classic red velvet cupcake with a vanilla cream cheese frosting topped with a red fondant heart.
• 3 Vanilla Squared – Classic Madagascar bourbon vanilla cupcake with a vanilla cream cheese frosting topped with a fondant flower or other seasonal decoration in assorted colors.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Georgetown Cupcake ships Monday-Friday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Cupcakes ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
• Upon arrival, store cupcakes at room temperature or in the freezer.
• Cupcakes last up to 2 days at room temperature or up to 2 weeks in the freezer.

To Serve

• If frozen, allow cupcakes to thaw at room temperature for approximately 2 hours.
• Serve and enjoy!
