Description
The sprinkle-spilling Explosion Cake reimagined as an ice cream cake, so slicing it still sets off the signature cascade of candy and confetti. It’s Amirah Kassem’s most famous creation, gone cold and creamy. Kassem dreamed up the original at Flour Shop, her SoHo bakery, drawing on the pinatas of her Mexican childhood. Choose your own – the surprise inside is what everyone reaches for their phone to film.

- Each cake measures approx. 6″ × 4″ and weighs approx. 3.5 lbs.
Flavor Options Include
- Rainbow Explosion Ice Cream Cake – Three layers of signature rainbow vanilla cake with homemade cream cheese frosting, bursting with Flour Shop’s housemade vanilla and sprinkle ice cream.
- Chocolate Explosion Ice Cream Cake – Three to four layers of chocolate cake, signature chocolate cream cheese frosting, homemade chocolate ice cream, and gel sprinkles!
- Cookies N’ C.R.E.A.M Explosion Ice Cream Cake – Three to four layers of Cookies n’ C.R.E.A.M. cake, signature cream cheese frosting, homemade Cookies n’ C.R.E.A.M. ice cream, and decorative gel sprinkles.
INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- Flour Shop ships Monday-Thursday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
- Cake ships frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Upon arrival, store at room temperature for up to 4 hours, in the refrigerator for up to 6 days, or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
