These USDA Choice filet mignons are hand-cut in-house to order, and they’re lean, fork-tender, and delicious. Also included are rich creamed spinach flavored with nutmeg and pancetta and light, creamy potato puree with a subtle tang of sour cream!

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Bern’s Steak house ships Tuesday-Friday of each week.
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Steak Dinner ships with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
• Upon arrival, place steaks and sides in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
• Freezing is not recommended, but steak may be stored in the freezer for up to 4 months if required.

To Serve

Steak

• Let steaks come to room temperature before cooking.
• Pat the steaks dry with paper towel and season both sides liberally with kosher salt and ground black pepper.
• Heat a heavy bottom sauté pan, at a medium/high heat.
• Add 2 oz of butter to the pan and when the butter is hot add the steaks.
• Lower the heat to medium and lightly brown all sides.
• Cook for 6-8 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 120 degrees is reached (for medium rare).
• Let the steak rest at room temperature for 4 minutes.
• Serve & enjoy!

Creamed Spinach + Sour Cream Potato Puree

• Place in a small sauce pot and put over medium low heat.
• Heat for 5-7 minutes constantly stirring until steaming hot.
• Stir again just before serving.
• Enjoy!
