Our Gluten-Free Seeded Bread arrives alongside a jar of seasonal jam, made in small batches with local organic produce. Naturally leavened with our in-house cultivated gluten-free starter, the bread is generously coated in sesame, pumpkin, sunflower, chia, and poppy seeds, creating a deeply flavorful loaf with a satisfying crunch and tender interior. Made with rice flour and naturally gluten-free starches, it’s especially delicious toasted and spread with the jam.
A cornerstone of the East Hampton community since it was founded by baker Carissa Waechter and Managing Partner Lori Chemla in 2017, Carissa’s is an all-day bakery that’s baking stunning European-style breads, pastries, and vibrant cakes inspired by the surrounding flora on-site in a bright, sunny, modernist space. At Carissa’s, they support small local growers and producers who prioritize organic and sustainable farming, fair trade practices, and overall transparency, and the end result is a product that’s healthy, delicious, and absolutely unforgettable.
