This regional favorite starts off with Detroit Style Pizza Company’s award winning dough that is layered edge to edge with a blend of brick and mozzarella cheese. Heart Shaped and topped off with their signature Sicilian sauce, just as tradition dictates, this Motor City pie once confined to the metro Detroit area is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

Detroit Style Pizza Co. was founded in 2012 by the late Shawn Randazzo, who was crowned the champion 2012 World Pizza Maker of the Year at the International Pizza Expo. They’re turning out some of the best Detroit-style pizza around, with its soft & airy, focaccia-like crust with a ring of crunchy caramelized cheese around the rim.

• Each pizza is approximately 7″ × 9″ and serves 2 people

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Detroit Style Pizza Co ships on Wednesday of each week.
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Pizzas are made-to-order and promptly frozen.
• Although each box is carefully packed with ice packs and picked up for immediate shipment, it is normal for the pizza and ice packs to partially or fully thaw during shipment.
• Upon receipt, please, cook, refrigerate or place in the freezer.
• Pizzas will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 1-2 days. If you wish to keep them longer, you can store them in the freezer for up to 2 months.

To Serve

From Frozen

• Preheat oven to 375F. (If using toaster oven 350F)
• If sauce is frozen transfer to a microwave safe bowl or container and thaw out in microwave so be able to spoon on pizza.
• Remove pizza from wrapper. Place on cookie sheet.
• With spoon, put sauce on top of pizza. Do not spread on, let drop from spoon.
• Place cookie sheet in oven on center rack. Cook approximately 25 minutes.(G.F. 15 min.)
• Carefully take pizza out of oven and let cool for a couple minutes. Enjoy!

From Thawed

• Preheat oven to 375F. (If using toaster oven 350F)
• If sauce is frozen transfer to a microwave safe bowl or container. Then put in microwave for 10-20 seconds and stir with spoon.
• Remove pizza from wrapper. Place on cookie sheet.
• With spoon, put sauce on top of pizza. Do not spread on, drop from spoon.
• Place cookie sheet in oven on center rack. Cook approximately 15 minutes.(G.F. 10 min.)
• Carefully take pizza out of oven and let cool for a couple minutes. Enjoy!
