Pepper jack set a low bar, and Sweet Grass Dairy cleared it decisively with Heat: a semi-firm aged cheese built on real Pasilla and Ancho chiles for depth and Chipotle and Paprika for smoke, each wheel aged at least 60 days until it melts as easily onto a weeknight taco as it holds its own on a board. Launched in 2024 out of the creamery’s Thomasville, Georgia kitchen and already a Bronze medalist at the 2025 World Cheese Awards, it’s a spiced cheese that earns a place alongside the traditional wheels rather than playing novelty. Perfect for a queso worth making from scratch, a burger that needs a lift, or the friend who puts hot sauce on everything.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Sweet Grass Dairy Shop ships Monday-Thursday of each week.
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Cheese ships refrigerated with ice packs, which may thaw in transit.
• Upon arrival, transfer all cheeses to the refrigerator immediately.
• Heat can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 30 days.
• Green Hill (soft-ripened) can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
• Pimento Cheese spread can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7-10 days.

To Serve

• Remove cheese from the refrigerator 30-45 minutes before serving to allow it to come to room temperature for best flavor.
• Slice and serve on a board, or shred onto tacos, nachos, or queso.
• Layer into a grilled cheese or burger for a melty finish.
