Now you can recreate La Segunda’s signature Cuban Sandwiches at home! Start with their signature fresh-baked bread – choose between traditional Cuban bread or a sweet & eggy Media Noche roll. Spread on the special sauce (made with mayo, mustard, garlic powder, and pepper) and pile on fresh roast pork, ham, pickles, Swiss cheese, and – in the traditional Tampa style – Genoa salami. Press it with a little butter until hot, crusty, and melty!

This combo pack also includes La Segunda’s classic Cuban coconut and cream cheese & guava puff pastry turnovers.

A Tampa landmark renowned for its fresh-baked Cuban bread, La Segunda was founded in 1915 by Juan Moré, who was born in Spain and opened the bakery after falling in love with Cuban bread while fighting in the Spanish-American War in Cuba. Today, fourth-generation owner Anthony Copeland Moré is keeping Juan’s dream alive in historic Ybor City by producing 18,000 loaves of Cuban bread daily along with addictively delicious Cuban turnovers as well as Cuban and Media Noche sandwiches. La Segunda is as authentic as it gets, and it’s now shipping nationwide!

• Each sandwich measures 9″ and weighs 1 lb.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• La Segunda Bakery ships Monday-Thursday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via overnight will incur an additional $35 charge. Sorry guys!

• Sandwiches + Turnovers ship with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
• Store sandwiches tightly wrapped in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
• Store turnovers in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator or at room temperature for up to 2 days.

To Serve

Sandwiches

• Remove sandwich from packaging.
• Over Medium heat, warm a skillet on a stovetop over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or oil, enough to lightly coat the pan, and press the sandwich onto the skillet.
• Cook for approx. 4-5 minutes, flip, and press and cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes, or until both sides are lightly brown and crisp and the sandwich is hot throughout.
• Serve & enjoy!

Turnovers

• Heat in the oven at 350 F and warm up for 10-15 minutes depending on how warm you like your turnover.
• Enjoy!
