Tartine Bakery was founded by Elisabeth Prueitt and Chad Robertson in San Francisco’s Mission District in 2002, and since then it’s gone down as one of the most beloved and influential bakeries in America. Fresh breads and baked goods emerge from their ovens at 3:30 every day, and locals and tourists alike line up for their country loaves, sweet treats and morning buns. • Each Pan au Chocolat measures approx. 5″ × 2″ × 5″ and weighs approx. 4 oz.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Tartine Bakery ships Monday-Friday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Pastries ship frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
• Upon arrival, store pastries in the bag they arrive in directly in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

To Serve

• Place Pan au Chocolat onto a lined sheet tray keeping them spaced apart by at least 4 inches.
• Allow to proof at ambient temperature for 8 hours lightly covered with plastic wrap or until they are 1″ high and 5″ long.
• Lightly brush the tops with egg wash (1 egg beaten).
• Bake at 400°F for 16 minutes.
• Allow to cool before removing from tray.
• Enjoy!
