Veselka folds some 21,000 pierogi a week, and this box hands you 48 of them, your pick across braised beef, potato, cheese, arugula and goat cheese, sauerkraut and mushroom, or short rib. These are the dumplings Eater named one of New York’s 30 most iconic dishes, made the same way since Ukrainian refugees Wolodymyr and Olha Darmochwal opened on Second Avenue in 1954. Boil them or pan-fry them, then finish with sour cream and caramelized onions. A freezer’s worth of the East Village’s most famous bite.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Veselka ships on Monday-Friday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
• Upon arrival, store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

To Serve

Pierogis

• Allow pierogi to defrost completely and cook in salted boiling water for 3-4 minutes.
• Optional: After boiling, pan-fry pierogis in butter until golden brown.
• Serve & enjoy!

Potato Pancake

• Preheat oven to 400°F.
• Place frozen pancakes on an ungreased sheet pan.
• Place in oven and bake for approx. 20-25 minutes, flipping the potato pancakes after the first 10 minutes.
• Serve and enjoy!
