New Haven thin-crust pizza is a Connecticut institution, and Carmine’s Frozen Pizzas of Durham, CT brings that tradition home with this Sausage & Roasted Red Peppers pie. Built on a hand-crafted, made-from-scratch thin crust, it’s layered with mozzarella, crumbled sausage, and sweet roasted red peppers. The crust is never prebaked – you finish each pizza yourself, from lightly golden to the charred char that defines the New Haven style.

Never prebaked, each pizza is prepared fresh and then baked 100 percent by you.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Carmine’s Frozen Pizzas ships Thursday through Friday each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight

• Pizzas ship frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
• Do not handle dry ice with bare hands.
• Pizzas may arrive slightly defrosted, which is normal. Simply place in the freezer immediately.
• Pizzas can be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months.

To Serve

• Put empty baking sheet in the oven and preheat to 500°F.
• Remove pizza from freezer and allow it to sit on the counter for a few minutes while oven preheats.
• After a few minutes, open the pizza packaging and remove cardboard disk from bottom of the pizza.
• Then carefully remove the empty baking sheet from the oven. Note: sheet will be hot.
• Place the frozen pizza on the pre-heated hot baking sheet and cook for 12-15 minutes, depending on your oven and desired wellness.
• Remove the pizza and let cool for one minute before serving.
