Two large loaves make up this morning-table duo from Jane’s Fillmore Street bakery: one Banana Walnut, studded with walnuts and sour cream, and one Morning Glory, folding carrots, apples, raisins, coconut, and sunflower seeds into a spiced crumb. Both are baked with Jane Grain flour milled from heritage wheat, twelve to fourteen slices apiece, in the San Francisco tradition that founder Amanda Michael built the bakery on. Perfect for a weekend breakfast, a new-neighbor welcome, or slicing and freezing for slow mornings ahead.

• Each loaf measures 8.5″ × 4.75″ × 3″ and yields 12-14 slices

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Jane ships Monday through Wednesday each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight

• Items ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
• Upon arrival, store on the counter for up to 4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
• Tip: slice before freezing and defrost slices as you wish to enjoy them.

To Serve

• If eating fresh, slice and serve.
• Alternately, loaves can be toasted or heated in an oven preheated to 275°F for 8 minutes.
• From Frozen
  • Remove the desired number of slices and let defrost on the counter for several hours, or overnight.
  • Pop in a toaster oven or a regular oven at 275°F about 8-10 minutes and enjoy!
