Fluffy, handmade matzo balls simmered in a rich chicken stock with carrots and egg noodles, the soup so good its makers call building that stock “making wine from water.” It’s been the deli’s signature for 70 years. Harry Rosen opened Junior’s in Brooklyn in 1950, and the Rosen family still runs it from the same corner, serving the classics he perfected. Comfort in a bowl, serving four.

• Junior’s Restaurant ships Monday- Wednesday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will incur an additional $35 charge for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Kit ships frozen with ice packs which may thaw in transit.
• Once received, all components should be refrigerated or refrozen.
• Shelf life is 3 days in the refrigerator or 1 month in the freezer.

To Serve

Matzo Ball Soup

• Thaw broth and matzoh balls in the refrigerator or leave them out on the counter for faster defrosting.
• Once thawed, pour contents into a medium saucepan
• Heat on medium-low heat until broth is simmering and matzoh balls are heated through (about 15-20 minutes).
• Towards the end of heating, add a 1/3 of a cup of noodles per quart.
• Serve alongside onion rye roll
• Enjoy!
