This Steamed Blue Crab Kit includes a dozen select male Blue crabs. These crabs are fully cooked, seasoned, and ready to eat!
Harris Seafood Company’s old processing house opened its doors in 1941 on the Kent Narrows Waterway in the Chesapeake Bay, and it’s been an Eastern Shore tradition ever since. Harris Crab House is the only remaining oyster house operating year-round in Maryland, and it’s run by the fifth-generation Harris family. They buy their seafood from about 350 local watermen and employ about 140 locals, and are committed to bringing the very best Maryland seafood straight from the dock to your door.

- 1 Roll of Crab Paper
- Harris Crab House Seasoning (4 oz.)
- Each Crab measures approx. 6.5″ and over from tip to tip
INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- Harris Crab House ships this item Wednesday and Thursday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
- Crabs are fully cooked, seasoned and ready to eat
- Items ship fresh with ice packs, may thaw in transit
- Upon arrival, remove from package and refrigerate
- May be kept refrigerated for up to 3 days
- Freezing is not recommended
To Serve
- In a large pot fill 2 or 2 ½ inches of water or beer and heat on a Medium flame
- Place a steamer basket over the liquid and place crabs into the basket
- Heat the pot until you can visually see steam from the pot
- Cover the pot and cook for approximately 5 minutes or until the crabs are fully heated
- It is important that the pot does not run out of water
- After heating, put the crab paper on the table along with the Harris Crab House Seasoning and enjoy your crab feast
Best enjoyed with melted butter and apple cider vinegar.
