This pack includes a trio of traditional Gullah candies from the South Carolina Lowcountry – black walnut brittle, benne (sesame seed) brittle, and groundnut (peanut) cakes – along with chewy, buttery, decadent Charleston Chewies; choose with or without pecans.
Growing up on James Island just outside Charleston, Christina Miller started baking at age 4, helping her grandmothers (affectionately known as “Bert and T”) roll pie crusts and fill cake pans. Her love of baking continued into adulthood, and in 2021 she launched Bert & T’s Desserts. Christina’s traditional recipes for classic Southern and Gullah-inspired desserts have been passed down over generations through her grandmothers as well as the many other women she grew up around, and every item on her menu is made from scratch, using local ingredients whenever possible. This is a true taste of the Lowcountry, and it’s shipping nationwide!

- Bert & T’s Desserts ships Wednesday and Thursday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
- Candy is shipped with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Candy may be stored at room temperature for up to 3 months.
- Store Charleston Chewies in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or at room temperature for up to 3 days.
