The sweetest of all La Segunda Bakery’s breads, the Coca bun is made with sugar, which gives it more of a pastry taste. It too has a soft interior and tremendous flavor. These buns pair wonderfully with hamburgers, pork sandwiches or even eaten with butter as breakfast toast.
A Tampa landmark renowned for its fresh-baked Cuban bread, La Segunda was founded in 1915 by Juan Moré, who was born in Spain and opened the bakery after falling in love with Cuban bread while fighting in the Spanish-American War in Cuba. Today, Juan’s grandson Albert and great-grandson Anthony are keeping Juan’s dream alive in historic Ybor City by producing 18,000 loaves of Cuban bread daily along with addictively delicious Cuban turnovers as well as Cuban and Media Noche sandwiches. La Segunda is as authentic as it gets, and it’s now shipping nationwide!

- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
