Chicago Deep Dish Pizza – Choose Your Own 6 Pack

Six stuffed deep dish pizzas to fill the freezer, mix and matched however you like. Each is built the Giordano’s way: dough pressed into a buttered pan, layered with toppings and cheese, capped with a second crust, then sauced and dusted with pecorino Romano. The double crust is the signature that made the Boglio brothers’ 1974 South Side parlor a Chicago institution – and the pie three different Chicago outlets have named the city’s best.

• Each pizza measures approx. 10″ and weighs approx. 2-3 lbs.
• Each pizza serves 2-3 people
• Choose to add more Giordano’s Marinara Sauce!

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Giordano’s Pizza ships Monday-Thursday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Pizza ships frozen with dry ice.
• Dry ice may dissipate in transit, product may thaw.
• Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
• Upon arrival, store pizza in the freezer for up to 6 months.

To Serve

• Place rack in center of oven and preheat to 325° F. If your oven has a convection fan feature, do not use it.
• (Optional): Place the pouch of additional pizza sauce in a bowl of hot water to thaw.
• Remove all packaging from the pizza but save the cardboard circle.
• For optimal cheese melt, place the pizza in a microwave oven and cook on high for 6 minutes (4 minutes if the pizza is thawed). These microwave times are based on standard 1000-watt microwave ovens. If your microwave oven is higher in wattage, subtract a minute from the cooking time. If your microwave oven is lower in wattage, add a minute to the cooking time.
• Remove pizza from microwave oven and spread (optional) additional sauce from pouch over the existing sauce on the pizza.
• Place pizza directly on center rack of oven and bake for 35-40 minutes (slightly less time if the pizza is thawed), until the crust turns golden brown. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your oven, so watch for the golden brown crust color.
• Remove pizza from oven and carefully slide pizza onto cardboard circle for easy slicing. Use caution as baked pizza will be very hot.
• Slice and enjoy!
