Yuval Dekel was an artisan baker before he became a deli man – and the babka at Liebman’s Kosher Deli is where those two lives meet. A lightly spiced, rich chocolate filling is spread over handmade yeast dough, rolled, braided to expose the layers, and finished with a citrusy simple syrup glaze; chopped walnuts available as an add-on. Made in the Riverdale institution that has been the last kosher deli in the Bronx since 1953 – the baker’s touch is what separates a Liebman’s babka from everything else on the block.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Liebman’s Deli ships Monday through Friday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Babka ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
• Upon arrival, store babka in the refrigerator, freezer, or at room temperature.
• Babka lasts up to 1 week in the refrigerator, up to 3-4 weeks in the freezer, or up to 5 days at room temperature in its original Plastic bag.

To Serve

• If frozen, thaw at room temperature for up to 2-3 hours.
• Slice thawed babka and microwave on high for 10-20 seconds before serving.
• Enjoy!
