Fried Chicken Sandwich Kit

Joyland’s fried chicken sandwich starts with chicken that’s been dredged in Cruze Farms buttermilk and a special flour mix seasoned with a proprietary blend of spices. It’s then deep-fried to golden-brown perfection and topped with North Carolina BBQ seasoning, delicious pickle and cabbage slaw, signature Joy Sauce, and Duke’s mayo. Be sure to add on fries or hashbrowns!

At Joyland, which opened in 2020, the “Chef’s Table” star has turned his attention to two of the most delicious foods and earth: burgers and fried chicken sandwiches. Brock has put the same care and attention to classic American fast food as he does to fine dining fare, with astonishing results.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• Joyland ships Monday – Thursday of each week
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Items with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
• Upon arrival, place in the refrigerator for up to 4 days

To Serve

• Preheat oven to 350° F and remove all items from packaging.
• On a lined baking tray, place chicken and heat in oven until internal temperature reaches 165 F, about 8 minutes.
• While reheating chicken, heat a pan on your stovetop over medium heat. Melt 1 tsp. of butter per bun and gently press buns into butter, toasting for 45 seconds or until the desired color is achieved. Set aside until chicken is ready to serve.
• Carefully remove from oven and allow the chicken to cool until safe to handle, about 3 minutes.
• Once ready, place Joysauce on bottom bun and mayo on top bun, add chicken to bottom bun, dust chicken with BBQ seasoning. Mix slaw and pickle dressing together and top chicken with mixture and add top bun.
• Serve and enjoy!

Fries

• Preheat oven to 350° F.
• Spread out on a lined baking tray and add to preheated oven – cook until crispy, around 18 minutes (15 minutes for convection oven).
• Serve and enjoy!
