Description
Praline – the buttery, caramelized pecan candy that is as New Orleans as the king cake itself – fills this Gambino’s oval from the inside out, folded into the sweet cinnamon brioche dough before the fondant icing and Carnival colors go on. Joe Gambino opened his bakery in 1949; the praline king cake is the one that regulars order when they want New Orleans in a single bite.

- Upon arrival, store king cake in the refrigerator or freezer.
- King cake may be stored for up to 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
- King cake may be stored for up to 3 months in the freezer.
- If frozen, take it out at least 3 hours before serving to ensure it has enough time to thaw.
