Icebox Cafe builds its German chocolate cake in layers of texture: a from-scratch brown-sugar custard folded with walnuts, dark chocolate chunks, and coconut, stacked between dark chocolate cake and sealed under a coat of dark Belgian chocolate ganache, then crowned with more of that coconut-walnut filling. It’s the kind of from-scratch dessert that made Icebox Cafe’s name, the Miami Beach kitchen Robert Siegmann opened in 1998 and whose cakes Oprah once named among the best in America. Perfect for a birthday, a chocolate lover’s celebration, or a holiday dessert that arrives ready to slice.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- Icebox Cafe ships Monday-Friday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
- Cake ships frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Cake may be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- If the cake is to be consumed within 24 hours, please place in the refrigerator to allow to defrost.
- For best flavor, place at room temperature (away from the sun), for 1 hour prior to consuming.

- To slice cake, it is best to use a sharp knife that has been run under hot water to ensure a clean cut.
