A Tampa landmark renowned for its fresh-baked Cuban bread, La Segunda was founded in 1915 by Juan Moré, who was born in Spain and opened the bakery after falling in love with Cuban bread while fighting in the Spanish-American War in Cuba. Today, fourth-generation owner Anthony Copeland Moré is keeping Juan’s dream alive in historic Ybor City by producing 18,000 loaves of Cuban bread daily along with addictively delicious Cuban turnovers as well as Cuban and Media Noche sandwiches. - Each turnover measures 3″ × 3″ and weighs 3 oz.
INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
- La Segunda Bakery ships Monday-Thursday of each week
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
- Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via overnight will incur an additional $35 charge. Sorry guys!
- Turnovers ship with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Store turnovers in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator or at room temperature for up to 2 days.
To Serve
- Heat in the oven at 350 F and warm up for 10-15 minutes depending on how warm you like your turnover.
