Everything for the 2nd Ave Deli’s legendary corned beef sandwich at home: housemade Certified Kosher corned beef, fresh-baked rye, deli mustard, Russian dressing, and pickles on the side. It’s a New York deli classic, assembled in your own kitchen. Abe Lebewohl opened this James Beard American Classic as a 10-seat East Village counter in 1954, and his nephews keep it going. All of 2nd Ave Deli’s foods have been Certified Kosher by the International Kosher Council, and are produced and prepared under strict IKC supervision.

This package serves 3-4 people and includes

• Corned Beef (1 lb.)
• Sour + Half Sour Pickles (1 qt.)
• Russian Dressing (8 oz.)
• Rye Bread (&#189 loaf, 12-14 slices)
• 1 bottle Mustard (10 oz.)

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE

• 2nd Ave Deli ships Tuesday & Thursday of each week.
• Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

• Kit ships with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
• If enjoying within 2-5 days, store everything in the refrigerator. Rye bread can alternatively be stored at room temperature.
• If storing for a later use:
  • Store Russian dressing in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Store rye bread in the freezer for up to 1 month.
  • Store pickles in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Store mustard in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.

To Serve

• Sliced Corned Beef can be served warm or cold. For best results, heat for 2-4 minutes in a vegetable steamer or double boiler on the stovetop. The meat can also be grilled, pan-fried, or (even god-forbid) microwaved.
• Toast bread if desired.
• Assemble sandwich & enjoy!

• Mustard – Distilled Vinegar, Water, #1 Grade Yellow Seed, #1 Grade Brown Seed, Mustard Seed, Salt, Turmeric, Spice.
• Rye Bread – Enriched Wheat Flour, Rye Flour, Ground Caraway Seed, Sugar, Acetic Acid, Lactic Acid, Ground Dill Seed, Water, Yeast, Corn Meal. Contains: Soy, Wheat.
• Russian Dressing – Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Sweet Relish.
