The Aberdeen Buttery – called a Rowie in its northeast Scotland homeland – is Scotland’s answer to the croissant: a laminated, lard-layered roll that is simultaneously flaky, chewy, rich, and slightly salty. Ackroyd’s in Redford, Michigan is one of the very few places in America making them authentically, hand-laminating each one in the tradition Al and Silas Ackroyd brought from their Scottish roots when they founded the Detroit shop in 1949. • Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
• Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!

Butteries

• Butteries ship frozen with ice packs, which may thaw during transit.
• Upon arrival, place butteries in the freezer.
• Butteries can be stored in the freezer for up to 90 days, in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or at room temperature for up to 2 days.
• Note: Butteries must be reheated before enjoying.

• Cream
  • Cream arrives ready to enjoy.
  • Unopened cream has a long shelf life, approximately 12 months from date of delivery.
  • After opening, refrigerate and use within 5 days.
  • Do not freeze.

• Jam
  • Jam arrives ready to enjoy!
  • Store unopened jam in a cool, dark and dry place for 12-18 months.
  • Refrigerate jam after opening and consume within 3-4 weeks.
