Description
Lorne sausage – also called sliced beef sausage or square sausage – is a Scottish breakfast staple: beef and pork seasoned with a special spice blend, formed into a log and sliced into flat, square patties that fry up crisp on the outside. Ackroyd’s makes it in Redford, Michigan to the traditional standard Al and Silas Ackroyd brought from their Scottish roots when they founded the Detroit shop in 1949. About a pound, four slices; the breakfast sausage that belongs on a buttery.

Sausage
- Items ship frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
- Do not remove dry with bare hands.
- Upon arrival, store items in the freezer for up to 12 months or in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- For best results, items should be thawed overnight in the refrigerator before baking.

- Sauce arrives ready to enjoy!
- Refrigerate sauce after opening and consume within 8 weeks.
- Note: Best By date on the bottle is European (DD/MMM/YY).
To Serve
From Refrigerator
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F degrees.
- Remove, serve & enjoy!
From Frozen
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cover items in foil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F degrees.
